DQ PACK Launches New Injection Molding Line for In-House Spout and Cap Manufacturing

As demand for high-performance flexible packaging continues to grow across the food, beverage, personal care and household product industries, packaging manufacturers are facing increasing pressure to ensure product consistency, supply reliability and production efficiency.

One challenge commonly encountered in the market is the separation of pouch production from spout and cap manufacturing. When these components are sourced from different suppliers, compatibility issues may occur during filling, sealing or transportation. Variations in dimensions, sealing performance or delivery schedules can affect packaging quality and lead to additional costs for brand owners.

To address these challenges and further strengthen quality control throughout the production process, DQ PACK has officially launched a new injection molding production line dedicated to the in-house manufacturing of spouts and caps. The investment marks an important step in the company’s ongoing effort to build a more integrated and reliable flexible packaging supply chain.

Strengthening Manufacturing Integration

With the new production line now in operation, DQ PACK is able to manufacture both spout pouches and their matching accessories within the same production system. This integrated approach allows closer coordination between pouch design and component production, helping ensure a more precise fit between pouches, spouts and caps.

By bringing accessory manufacturing in-house, DQ PACK can also implement unified quality standards throughout the entire production process, from raw material selection to final product inspection.

Advanced Production Capabilities

The new workshop is equipped with automated injection molding equipment designed to support stable and efficient production. Food-grade PP and PE materials are used to manufacture spouts and caps that comply with international packaging safety requirements.

In addition to standard products, the production line supports customized solutions, including different diameters, structures, colors and logo embossing options. Specialized designs such as larger openings and child-resistant closures can also be developed according to customer requirements.

The combination of automated production and internal quality management helps maintain dimensional consistency, sealing performance and product appearance across large production volumes.

Benefits for Customers

The addition of in-house spout and cap manufacturing brings several practical advantages to customers.

First, improved compatibility between pouches and accessories helps reduce the risk of leakage, poor sealing or assembly issues during filling operations. This is particularly important for liquid, paste and powdered products that require reliable package integrity.

Second, integrated production allows for better control of lead times and supply planning. Customers can source complete packaging solutions from a single supplier, simplifying procurement processes and reducing coordination efforts.

Third, direct management of both pouch and accessory production enables faster response to customization requests and new product development projects, helping brands bring packaging innovations to market more efficiently.

Looking Ahead

The launch of the new injection molding line represents another milestone in DQ PACK’s manufacturing development strategy. By expanding its production capabilities and increasing vertical integration, the company aims to provide customers with more consistent product quality, improved supply stability and greater flexibility in packaging customization.

Moving forward, DQ PACK will continue investing in technology, production efficiency and quality management to support the evolving needs of global markets and deliver comprehensive flexible packaging solutions for a wide range of applications.
